ACTIVISM, LOBBYING & COALITION BUILDING (ALC)
Introduction
The main focus for this sub-programme is to
engage with and harness/ support collective action from TGNP’s key
partners and others so as to actively influence and lobby for more
effective positive and gender transformative processes in policy,
legal and political processes in the country and beyond. Therefore,
joint advocacy is a key component to building a broad transformative
feminist social movement.
In this light, building stronger coalitions
as well as strengthening partnerships and networking with
like-minded organisations focusing on the grassroots level linked to
national, regional and global levels is very crucial.
Gender Development Seminar Series (GDSS),
Gender Festival (GF) and Intermediary Gender Networks (IGNs) plays
