GENDER TRAINING
INSTITUTE (GTI)
GTI strives to become a centre for excellence, capacity building
and skills development in transformative feminist/gender and
social development of key development actors at various levels
to strengthen/raise their capacity for movement building and to
address women empowerment, gender equality/equity and social
justice in all development processes discourses.
The
Institute continues to be transformed so that it becomes a fully
fledged semi-autonomous institute from TGNP. It also acts as a
key institution that develops a resource base of facilitators
and other resource persons for responding to different
stakeholders, including programmes within TGNP. Year 2008 and
2009 provides a room for GTI to grow into a full fledged Gender
Institute.

GTI as a semi-autonomous entity enhanced;

and capacity building for enhanced feminist movement and gender
mainstreaming;
